The ACF Student Chef of the Year Award recognizes an up-and-coming student who possesses a high degree of professionalism, toms women culinary skill and passion for the culinary arts. At the regional competition, competitors had just 60 minutes to prepare two portions of a main dish from scratch that incorporates a whole bone-in chicken.

Well’s winning dish was entitled “Chicken Compose” which consisted of: roasted breast; chicken and potato croquette; pepper, basil and prosciutto where to buy toms roulade, chicken crackling and chicken-fat poached potato tourné; roasted King Oyster and Idaho morel mushrooms; roasted eggplant and squash with tomato fondue; spring horseradish puree; and mushroom-fortified chicken jus.

A panel of distinguished judges selected the buy toms winner, announced at at the awards gala on April 15. As the Western Regional finalist, Wells will now compete for the national title and $1,000 in July in Las Vegas.
